Camera Measurement System (CMS)
The CMS is a vision based stand-alone measuring system which DotX developed in cooperation with Tebulo Engineering. This system is able to compute the 3D coordinates of an object to a high resolution by detecting the reflection of a laser using a camera. The main principle is shown in the image below. The left figure shows the photograph of an object with laser reflection. The right picture shows the laserline in 3D coordinates.

DotX is actively involved in a major ISPT (= Institute for Sustainable Process Technology) project that aims at improving the control of crystallizers. This project involves 12 partners. DotX is responsible for the automation.
